Visit Chiang Rai Province and The Golden Triangle, meeting point of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. The tour will also take in a visit to Maekhajan hot springs, the boarder town of Mae Sai, an Akha hilltribe village as well as a visit to Chiang Saen situated o­n the banks of the Mekong River. Chiang Saen was once the site of an important northern Thai kingdom and much surviving architecture and Buddha images can be found scattered around town. While in Chiang Saen you will also have the option of a boat trip across the Mekong River to the Laos side.
